Does anyone know if you can use the script "onClick" for standard Icon component?
I know this work for the Fiori Button, but it would be great to avoid using SDK enhancements.

SOAP - PI - RFC synchronous
Dear Forumers,
I'm looking for the best way to have following scenario working:
Call of SOAP Web services - PI - RFC
In fact it's the same as exposing the BAPI's and functions as Web Service but through PI for internal political reasons.
So PI would just act as the "exposer" of the BAPI / Function web services.
I created
in ESR:
- RFC: imported bapi / function
- External definition: based on the WSDL I could export from the RFC I just imported.
- Service Interface outbound synchronous
-- based on the external definition
- Service Interface inbound synchronous
-- based on the RFC
Then operation mapping with 2 message mappings: 1 for request and 1 for responses where I map every field 1 on 1.
in ID
- 1 communication channel for SOAP Sender
- 1 communication channel for RFC Receiver
- An Integrated Configuration
Is this the best way to go?
Besides that I get an error on this scenario as shown in attachment

Problem getting sub report to link with main report
I have a report that contains a sub report that works correctly.
I have a second report that I want to use exactly the same sub report from the first report.
- I have copied the sub report and inserted it

- I have set the Sub Report Links to be exactly the same

- I have set the record selection formulas to be exactly the same
![]()
- The parameters are exactly the same

- I can run the sub report independently and get data back

When i run the main report the sub report is blank
I have added the parameter field to the sub report and the when I run the main report I can now see the parameter fields so it is passing data.
However when i add the field that the parameter should populate it is NULL
Im really stuck as to why.
I can send the reports over to someone by email if they want to take a look.

Debugging HANA Stored Procedures
Hi Experts,
I have created a new procedure and wanted to debug it to fix some code issues. I have opened the procedure, set the breakpoint. I have created a debug configuration selecting SAP HANA Stored Procedure and provided parameters. However once I trigger the debug I get below error.
Client breakpoint message: code = 104, description = catalog lookup failed: procedure _SYS_BIC.ABC_TEST does not exist
Can anyone suggest here.

Fill in all required entry fields Message no. 00055 on PA40
Hello,
I am new to SAP and I have been trying for hours to Create Personal Data for my fictional structure. I get this error message everytime I try to save my employee. I have already tried to fill out every blank space but I still get the same results.
Does anybody know what's wrong in here?

select error: SQLSTATE = 01004 SQL server native client 10.0
We are using Sybase database and now need to migrated to SQL Server 2008 R2 and Powerbuilder 12.5. I created ODBC data source use SQL SNC
10.0. PB database connections using ODB ODBC but when we retrieve data from datawindow go below error:
I cannot use SNC SQL Native Client to connect database but it failed.
Can anyone help please?

"SEND" button in not enabled for a user in a webi report
Hi All,
Need your help.The "SEND" button is disabled for a particular user.From CMC i checked this user(who is facing this issue) and other user(who is not facing this issue) is part of same group.Can any one help me know what could be the reason or how to investigate this issue.

Good Day,
We would like to put about 5000 vendor articles on our website to sell.
We would only like to create these articles in the system once it is sold to a customer.
Is there any way to update master data at the time of sale instead of maintain 5000 articles before hand?

to best of my understanding assembly can be created using
following 2 options
1.Using MMP1 transaction and defining material type IBAU at
material master level
2.By creating material BOM using CS01 transaction for
material i.e assembly.

AfO installation problem
I have installed Analysis for Office 2.3 on my laptop which hasOffice 365 Pro version 15.4823.1002
I am trying to use AfO with BPC 10.1 Embedded.
Post install the neither the Analysis or EPM ribbons appeared in Excel
In the BPC Web, when selecting the EPM Office Addin link you are prompted to install the addin.
I eventually figured out that the COM addin for analysis was not active. Once I activated it the Analysis and EPM ribbons appear in Excel.
In BPC Web only the EPM Office Addin appears Analysis is missing.
If I launch the EPM Add in for Excel using a BPC 10.1 Standard Environment the Data Manager ribbon does not appear, though it is listed in the customise the ribbon UI.
In summary I have 2 problems.
1. Analysis for Office not appearing in the BPC Web
2. Data Manager Ribbon not appearing in Excel
Has anyone else had a similar problem and how did they resolve it?

You need a free SAP HANA Cloud Platform developer account (trial instance): Signing Up for a Developer Account.

How to Subscribe to the IoT services?
Enabling the SAP HANA Cloud Platform Internet of Things (IoT) services
- Log on the SAP HANA Cloud Platform cockpit:
- Access for trial accounts: https://account.hanatrial.ondemand.com/cockpit.
- Access for productive accounts: https://account.hana.ondemand.com/cockpit.
- Go to the Services tab.
- Select the Internet of Things Services entry.
- Choose Enable.

- A subscription of the Internet of Things Services will be automatically assigned to your account. This subscription includes Remote Device ManagementService (including IoT Cockpit) and Message Management Service capabilities.
- The "IoT-User" role is automatically assigned to your user. The role is required to access the Internet of Things Services Cockpit.

How to Get Started?
Accessing the Internet of Things services Cockpit
The Internet of Things services Cockpit allows you to register devices in a secure manner. Every device must have a certain device type which is specified by its supported message types. You can define both types in the IoT Cockpit as well.
- Choose Go to Service for the Internet of Things services subscription.
- The Internet of Things services Cockpit is displayed.
Deploying Message Management Service
The deployment of the Message Management Service (MMS) is necessary to be able to send data from a device to your consumer account.
- Go to the Internet of Things Services Cockpit.
- Choose the Deploy Message Management Service tile which opens the MMS deployment tooling.
- Fill in the target consumer Account ID (pre-filled) from the SAP HANA Cloud Platform cockpit, and enter your HCP User Name(pre-filled) and Password.

You can now start creating Device Types, Message Types and Devices in the Internet of Things Services Cockpit and send data from a device. The following section describes an example.

Cluster setup for BO Edge 4.0
Hello Experts
I am working with a client who is looking for BO Edge 4.0 SP 1 installation in cluster environment. They are looking for high availability and fits as mid-sized BO implementation template as per BI sizing.
First of all,
Does BO Edge 4.0 SP1 supports cluster implementation ?
(2 Nodes running on Windows server 2008)
Any pointers would be helpful.

How to assign fiscal year varaint and transaction to Non leading ledger after go live
Hi,
Could any one suggest on below issue ?
Group company code fiscal year is different than company code fiscal year as per legal requirement, while during SAP implementation, consultant did not assign different fiscal year to leading and non leading ledger ( they just leave as blank in fiscal year assignment for non leading ledger). System automatically picking up leading ledger fiscal year. How can we now correct as data is already uploaded in 2013 and system is running live. how we can now assign different fiscal year to non ledger.
Please advice.

Adobe Form with multiple pages cannot output successfully
Dear Adobe Form specialist,
I got a question about PDF form with multiple pages is not able to output successfully.
but weird things is, PDF form with only one page is workable.
I really don't understand where is missing or wrong in my customization.
Guys, please take a look at the screenshots which is the information of spool history.
Output device LOCLPDF, the device type is PDF1,
