PO Release Strategy Reset after changing Delivery Date in Released PO

Hi Experts,

I check many threads for PO Release strategy but could not find specific solution for my problem

I set the Release Indicator-6, in PO Release strategy.

My PO was released.

Now the user change the Delivery Date, in PO

Now PO Release Strategy resetted.

Now client is asking that for Delivery Date it should not go for Release again.

I wonder that Release Indicator 6, should Reset the Release in case there is increase in PO Value

Please let me know whether system behaviour is correct

Also is there anyway that i can change PO delivery date, without resetting the Release Strategy.

PO is account assigned with Asset.

I do not want to change Release Indicator
