I installed the "SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP and SAP BW 7.4 SP08 on SAP ASE 15.7 [Developer Edition]"
in SAP Cloud Appliance Library (CAL).
The installation options I chose are very basic / standard (s. below). After I started my instance I could not connect to the ABAP system via port 3200 even though it should be available according to CAL platform and AWS dashboard. I successfully can connect to port 22 (ssh) of the server but not to port 3200. I can also connect to the Windows Terminal Server instance like expected. But even from there (SAP Gui) the connection to the ABAP server fails.
It seems that port 3200 is not exposed by the server. Is this a general error in the VM or can I fix this problem by changing the configuration?
